How do I enable my XRP account on my Keevo wallet?
To activate your XRP account in your Keevo LINK and Device simply proceed as follows:
- Go to Settings in your Keevo Link desktop app
- Select the Accounts tab
- Toggle XRP to “On.”
An XRP account requires a minimum of 20 XRP. To activate, simply send at least 20 XRP to your Keevo account.
Please note, per the requirements of the Ripple network, you must maintain this minimum of 20 XRP in your account at all times for it to remain active. The reason for needing to store this minimum amount within your XRP address is to protect the shared global ledger from growing excessively large as the result of spam or malicious usage.
Receiving XRP with Keevo
Every Keevo user’s XRP address is unique to them. In order to receive XRP, simply share this address with anyone from whom you wish to receive it. Don’t worry, in order to receive and store XRP on your Keevo wallet, you do NOT need to provide a “Destination Tag” along with your “Receive” address.
Sending XRP with Keevo
In order to send XRP to another wallet, that user’s wallet may require a Destination Tag in order to send. If this is the case, you will need to provide a Destination Tag along with the “Send to” Address. Keevo users are able to add both the Destination Tag and the Send Address in the Send Flow of their Keevo LINK.
