Security
How can I be sure that Keevo's solution is secure?
At the heart of Keevo’s revolution in security is our patent-pending Multi-Factor / Multi-Signature Authentication system. In addition to other security on the Keevo Wallet device, your Keevo has Four-factor authentication (4FA). It's both easy to use and extremely secure and private.
When you set up your Keevo wallet as a new device, it creates a new and secret phrase that can be used to derive your private master key. This key has never left the Keevo device, and its secure MCU and the user's seed phrase has not been revealed to anyone, including themselves. This seed phrase is created by a true Random Number Generator on the processor on the device and includes some user entropy or random characters that the user has entered.
If you would like to have control over your seed phrase (although it's not necessary or recommended due to security concerns), you can connect your device to your computer and log into Keevo Link, tap on "Settings" on your device Dashboard, and then click on the "Seed Phrase" button in the menu.
You will then see the appropriate warnings on your computer screen and be asked to opt in if you'd like. You can then authenticate yourself using any three of the four factors.
